Growing up I loved the story of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I would image I had actually found a golden ticket and went for a sail down the chocolate river. I still love the story it’s one of my favourites that we have read together. Finlay went through a stage of watching it on repeat. And if you’re wondering, I prefer the original film. So when I saw the ‘My Golden Ticket’ book by Wonderbly a while ago on Facebook I clicked straight away. I thought it looked amazing!

My Golden Ticket, in collaboration with Roald Dahl offers kids a unique, personalised, immersive adventure through Willy Wonka’s Factory.
I’m so excited to give these to the boys at Christmas, I think it might be my favourite present that I have for them. It’s really magical!
As each story is based around the child’s name both Finlay and Kyle will travel a different journey through the story. No two stories are the same! I further added to this individual journey through the story by opting to add myself as a character in Finlay’s story, but not in Kyle’s as he’s older.
Opening the beautiful wrapping the smell of chocolate hits you (yes you can choose to get the books with a chocolate scent, how amazing!) and I can just imagine their excitement at opening their beautiful chocolate smelling books.
There’s so much to love about the My Golden Ticket book. The illustrations are gorgeous and so in the original Roald Dahl style which I love.
There are so many lovely personalised elements too. You can choose a custom dedication at the beginning and there’s even an Oompa Loompa song based on the name you select!
My favourite part though, has got to be their very own Wonka Bar!
With so much detail on every page, this is a book where you will discover something new with each read.
It really is the perfect gift for bookworms of all ages. I know I am going to love reading these books with them. And I love that they both have the same present for Christmas but they are also unique, just like they are!
