Living Arrows – A trip to the forest

I did it! I have a picture of the elusive Finlay. He’s never, ever still! In fact I have more than one, all taken yesterday at Salcey Forest. Prepare for some picture spam as I couldn’t chose my favourites.

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows, are sent forth”  Kahlil Gibran

I just love the light flare in this one. Ava carried the baby around the whole forest, too cute and the boys were both so kindwith her. They helped her over logs, up and down slopes and when she was trying to climb.

Here he is my little, or not so little now, Finlay. He had a fantastic end of year report from School. I’m so pleased he enjoys School and so proud of him.

Kyle also had a great report. He doesn’t always find School easy but is trying hard, so I’m also really proud of him.

And finally Ava has got the sessions we wanted at Pre School for September. She will be going for two mornings a week and I’m in denial. She walked up the other morning with her little backpack on to go and have a play and she loved it. But I just can’t imagine leaving her there in less than two months. Where has my baby gone? She’s busy making a stick dinner in the picture.

And here are a couple more of my favourites.
