We spent the most beautiful day today at Stanwick Lakes. Just me and the three of them in the sunshine. Ava loved playing in the water, her little face in the first bit she ran into was just pure delight! She’s never played in it before so it was a first for her. I loved helping her to splash, climb and play with it, tipping her little watering can out and running her fingers through the flowing water. The boys were all over the place, running between there and the play frames. We dried, changed, ate ice cream and ice lollies and went off to the other side of one of the lakes to the assault course. Ava went to sleep and I got to spend some time watching the boys enjoy themselves, climbing, sliding and swinging.
