Celebrating Monsoon Children’s 20th Birthday Party at The Tower of London

Last weekend we were invited by Monsoon to celebrate 20 years of Children’s Fashion with a very special Birthday Party at the Tower of London.

I was very excited as I’m a huge fan of Monsoon Children’s Clothes. Finlay was also very excited about the party as not only did he get to wear his new Monsoon clothes (he loved his bow-tie) he had a magic key. We had received an invite in the post earlier in the week. He clung to the key the whole way there on the train, the underground and right up until we entered the venue. It was immediately abandoned when he saw the enchanted forest and both boys sat down on the cushions amidst the twinkly fairy lights and tepees on the grass around the campfire and made themselves at home.

They were entertained for the whole of the party. There was a talk from a Beefeater and lots of crafts for them to do. They spent most of their time mesmerised by the amazingly talented balloon modelling lady and eating plenty of the delicious food. They also enjoyed a storytelling storytelling session with the author and illustrator of Florentine and Pig book before playing party games and toasting marshmallows on the pretend campfire.

Ava was in her element, lots of twinkly lights, cushions to crawl over, a nice soft floor and plenty of people paying her attention. She looked so pretty in her beautiful Monsoon party dress and particularly liked the photo booth which was also one of my favourite places. The decor in the venue was stunning.

Monsoon had thought about the adults too which I loved, by creating a sectioned off  area complete with bar, comfy sofas, a nail station and massages. I didn’t really get a chance to relax as I was too busy having fun with the children. It was lovely to chat to other bloggers and their families and I was very lucky that Monsoon said I could bring my parents to help as James was working. They had a lovely time too.

After the party we spent some time looking around the Tower of London which I had never been to before. The boys and I really enjoyed it and there was so much to do we will have to go back another time.

Happy 20th Birthday Monsoon Children! Thank you so much for inviting us, we had a lovely time.
