The Best UK Road Trip Adventures For Older Adults

There’s no denying the popularity of road trips. They offer you flexibility and freedom to explore and see more of the country at your own pace and in comfort, whilst enabling you to make new memories. From the rugged beauty and wildlife of the Scottish Highlands to the picturesque blue flag beaches of St Ives, there are plenty of options for UK road trip adventures that will suit everyone.

To give you inspiration for your next Roadrtrip Chums has put together five interactive maps showcasing routes based on different themes, from wildlife to relaxation and heritage. In June 2022, they polled 1,000 people in the UK aged 45 and over to find out what they look for in a road trip, so you can be sure these itineraries will contain just what you are looking for. Read on for two of my favourites….
