This week has gone by in a bit of a blur. I’ve been ill the whole week and haven’t been able to do all the fun things I had planned.

Seeing how tall he is against Roald Dahl characters.Sunday we spend the day at home playing board games and having a roast. James goes for a run and Kyle goes with him on his bike. I’m feeling really ill.

Monday I manage to take the boys to an event at the Roald Dahl Museum. We have a fantastic time and there will be a blog post about it all this week.

I manage to get to the Doctors on Tuesday, I have a bad sinus infection and bronchitis so I get some antibiotics. It’s another day spent at home as I’m feeling to ill to do anything. Luckily for the boys they go to my Mum and Dads for a sleep over. James flies off the Dublin for work so its just me and Ava.
Wednesday I spend with Ava, we pop to the shops for some bits for my Mums Birthday tomorrow. The rest of the day is spent in bed and on the sofa as I’m still feeling ill. The boys have a great time with my Mum and Dad at a Country Park. James gets back late evening.
Thursday is my Mums 60th. We go over there for cake and party food.

On Friday I actually manage to go and get my hair done. Unfortunately the lady doing it is different to normal and I’m not very happy with the colour. It was nice if not a bit weird to have some time just me. We give Ava a lick on a strawberry Friday at tea time and she loves it. However a rash immediately comes up on her face. She starts crying about 6pm and is still going after 8pm, very unlike her. It was horrible to watch, she was so upset and nothing we did comforted her.
Saturday we wake up to her rash. Its very red and angry and throughout the day continues to spread down her chest and back. No more licking strawberries for Ava. We take her swimming later in the day. It’s very quiet as the boys are at their Dads. It’s nice to spend some time with James as he is so busy with his work at the moment.

I hope you’re feeling completely better now lovely! Typical timing with it being the Easter hols you poor thing! It looks like it was lucky you only gave Ava a lick of the strawberry dear of her, she’s even gorgeous all spotty!
