I’ve been hoping, dreaming, wishing for some more summer weather but I think our chances are disappearing. I know after posting on Facebook and Instagram that I am not alone in my despair at the thought of months of wet, cold and dark weather. So instead of moping around (I’ve done a bit of this too) I dug out my Hygge book and re visited how I embraced Hygee last year. Whilst sorting through my clothes at the weekend, trying to find something warm to wear for Rugby, I decided that they are definitely needing a re fresh. First on my list is some warmer clothes. I want to try and create a capsule wardrobe this season, with inter matching items rather than one off outfits.
So this weeks ‘Wednesday Wants’ is all on a Autumn fashion theme.
I’m still loving mustard yellow and this coat from New Look is going to be hugely popular this season as I’ve already seen it floating around on Instagram. It’s currently out of stock but keep and eye on it as it came back in the other week.
Slogan Tee’s are still big and as part of my capsule wardrobe this Feminist tee would go perfectly. When it comes to slogan tops I think less is more and this one could go with multiple outfits.
Knitwear is obviously a must for Autumn and I do love some chunky knits. I’m lusting after this grey balloon sleeve jumper with a little twist on the classic grey top. Who else is happy to see lots of pinks and greys again this season? It’s one of my favourite colour combos.
Matching interchangeable pom pom hats, yes they really are a thing. Now I can make sure my hat matches my outfit choice and I can get one for Ava too.
The angled buttons on these Topshop Joni black high waisted jeans add a bit of glamour to your black skinnies. I love how you can dress a pair of black jeans up or down so easily by just changing your footwear.
Finally a pair of black Chelsea boots. I think it might be time to pac away the flip-flops! With a little heel these are comfortable enough for everyday wear and look great with your skinnies or a skirt and chunky tights.
Loving all of your choices!! I’ve ended up getting that New Look coat in a different colour each year, and I’ve got my eye on that one for sure. The great thing about New Look for me personally is their extensive Petite range, it’s just perfect for me. xx
Oh Eilidh! You have made me want to go out shopping and redo my whole wardrobe! I love, love, love the chelsea boots and that mustard coat is gorgeous xx
What a great look you’ve put together, very seasonal and those mix and match pom poms are so cute! Mich x
Some lovely autumn finds here love your selection here!
Oh my gosh, interchangeable pom poms?! Life, made! x
