What an end to the week! I’m late with this post as I have spent since Friday looking after a really poorly Ava. She’s still not great now but we are hoping she is on the mend. It’s half term here next week so we have plans to visit some National Trust places and do some local activities and I’m really looking forward to no school runs and a bit of a break from all the clubs!
I finished Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine and I absolutely loved it. At the beginning of the book I didn’t really like the main character, she made me cringe, but by the end I just wanted to be her friend. We all know someone who’s a little bit odd on first appearances and it’s definitely made me think about being more aware of being less judgmental. That makes me sound like I am which I try not to be, but I’m sure you know what I mean. I finished this book in pretty much one day when looking after Ava and I couldn’t put it down. It’s the first book for a while that has grabbed me like that.
Watched
The Fall! I LOVE it. We are on series 2 and it’s got us hooked. If you like a psychological thriller and you haven’t watched it, do! It’s also got Jamie Dornan (50 shades of Grey) as the main character in it and he’s fab. I didn’t get the choice of him in the 50 shades films but I do now.
Heard
Podcasts. Ok late to the party I know, but I’ve been listening to Alison Perry’s ones and have really enjoyed them. So after asking for suggestions I’ve added a few more to my listen list. Now I’ve just got to figure out when to actually listen to them? Those that listen to Podcasts when do you do it?
It to the gym. I’m really enjoying being back at Virgin. I go to a dynamic yoga and a body pump class every week. Ava loves the crèche and we go swimming together once a week so I think I’m getting my moneys worth.

And Lastly ….
I’ve been really enjoying changing direction on my Instagram to more lifestyle than family, along with the blog and I have made the change from Tots to Hibs and feel so much happier with everything after the rebrand.
The Fall is amazing isn’t it?! Jamie Dornan is so good, I always found it really odd to find his character quite sexy and endearing.
I’m about to read Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine. I’ve heard the same as what you’ve said in terms of the character being hard to connect with and like at the beginning but completely different at the end.
I hope Ava is better soon. Enjoy half term xx
The Fall is incredible isn’t it? Great TV
I love podcasts! I find listening to them in car or while I’m on a run to be the best time. xx
That jumper is gorgeous, can’t believe it’s Primark. Might have to have a little trip to town.
Eleanor Oliphant is next on my to read list. I can’t wait, everyone keeps telling me it’s great. #littleloves
