Rhubarb & Custard Gin, Hygge & wedding planning #littleloves

I can’t believe how quickly this week has gone. The age ranges of my three at the moment are making finding things to do when they are all off together, more and more difficult. So this week has not been as lovely as I had wished.

Read

I’ve been reading loads of wedding blogs. When I first got married I didn’t know anything about wedding blogs and would spend my time pouring over the pages of wedding magazines instead. I’ve already got some favourites, Rock My Wedding and Boho Weddings. I’ve also been reading my ‘Hygge’ book.

Watched

We’ve been watching ‘The Night Manager’ which I wasn’t too sure of at first but am now hooked on finding out what is going to happen. It’s definitely worth watching. We also watched the first of the second part of the newest series of ‘The Walking Dead’. The last half of the series I wasn’t a massive fan. I felt it was all a bit disjointed, so I’m hoping for an improvement this time.

Made

It through the week, does that count? I love my children I really do,  but some days this week I have sighed a MASSIVE sigh of relief when they are finally in bed. I think like I said above, meeting the hugely different demands they all have at the moment can be really tricky. Ava is also getting increasingly frustrated that she can’t fully communicate with us. There has been much screaming in frustration and loudly shouting “no”. I did also make a nice Rhubarb and Custard G&T!

Wore

A swimsuit! I wrote yesterday about how I now dislike swimming among other things. I’m still not sure when I became a Mum who doesn’t like swimming?

Heard

It’s been a bit of an Oasis week here. They are a band we both like and I heard James playing some tracks earlier on in the week and so I followed suit, along with some other classic 90’s bands I’ve been making a playlist of my favourites.

And Lastly ….

I’m off on a photography course for the day tomorrow and I’m excited and nervous. Hoping I come back a complete pro!

So jealous of your photography course – I hope it goes well! And you cannot beat a bit of Oasis – any time I heard Wonderwall I’m about 13 again! x

Haha same here with Oasis, it reminds me of listening to it on the cd stands in tescos whilst my Mum did the shopping. The photography course was a Chritsmas present x

I need to find out more about this Hygge book thing as I’ve seen so many people mention it, sounds like a must read?
