Thinking of meals that your baby, toddler or child with allergies can eat, can be a challenge. My allergy friendly posts have been really popular, if you’ve missed them, you can read them here.
All of the meals are dairy, soya, egg, peanut and strawberry free. They could be adapted for any other allergies your baby may have. More details of the products I use in these meals can be found at the bottom of the post. Some of the meals will also be suitable for you to eat if you are breast feeding and also avoiding the allergens.
This week I decided to do a day of quick and easy meals. Sometimes you don’t want to spend hours preparing meals and thinking about food. As an allergy parent you will already do enough of this. These meals are for my 15 month old, she would have eaten them when she was younger too so they are suitable for BLW.
Breakfast
Porridge oats with oatly milk.
Grapes halved length-ways, blueberries and raspberries.
Mid morning snack
Banana
Apple rice cake
Lunch
Wholemeal sandwich thins with sliced chicken. (the thins contain soya flour which we are currently trialing, for links to soya flour free bread see the bottom of the post)
Teddy Face crisps (these contain soya lecithin)
Cucumber cut in to sticks
Cherry tomatoes, halved.
Dinner
Tuna
Pasta shells (she find these easy to pick up)
Homemade tomato sauce, chopped tomatoes, paprika and season all.
Food Products – this week I shopped at Aldi so I was unable to do links and have instead shown pictures of the packaging. If you regularly shop at Tesco check out this post and this post for links to there. For Waitrose look here. For Asda look here.
Some of the products that I regularly use are not available at Aldi so I have included links to them.
You can also find some of these products in health food shops and online shops. Please note none of these are affiliate links, nor have I been paid to include them.
