With 2020 and the first half (almost) of 2021 having been a washout in terms of travel and holidays, it’s time to make the most of the rest of 2021. So if you’re looking for choices for fun, family-friendly holiday destinations for the summer of 2021, then here are five to consider.

Planning a holiday at the Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Club Reviews is a great way to get everything under one roof. With a vast choice of hotels and resorts in destinations including Puerto Plata, Punta Cana and Mexico, you will be spoilt for choice. Their unique, all-inclusive resort experience for members offers world-class amenities, gourmet cuisine, live entertainment shows, pristine beaches and a rocking nightlife. And the icing on the cake – your vacation can be entirely customized!
If you’re looking for some fun in the sun – along with a lot more – then Majorca in the Balearic Islands has a lot to offer! Amazing beaches with crystal-clear water and the perfect weather. With great family hotels, amenities and only a short flight from the UK, it ticks off everything you’d want from a family beach holiday. The surrounding old towns are packed with culture and local cuisine, so there’s quite a lot you can discover as well. No wonder Majorca has been a hit with holidaymakers for years!
If you’re a parent, Disney World will at some point be on your travel destination list – your kids will make sure of it! But don’t be fooled and assume it’s just a kid’s holiday. You’ll be surprised how much fun grown-ups can have as well! Not all the rides are just kiddie ones, so it really is the best place to let your hair down and adrenaline levels up!
Of course, you could travel all the way to Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando for the real thing. But if you want something closer to home then Disneyland Paris is amazing as well. And if you want to be at the heart of the action 24/7, then choose to stay in one of their many family-friendly resorts.
There’s plenty to see and do and keep kids entertained outdoors on this pretty island in the UK. Easily accessible via a 40-minute ferry ride from Portsmouth or Southampton. The Isle of Wight is perfect for a short family getaway or a more relaxed holiday alike.
There are the beaches and there is also the Needles Attractions which include the popular Chairlift ride (a favourite with kids). There is also the beautiful hike around Alum Bay and breathtaking views of the Needles Lighthouse and cliffs.
The Alum Bay glass-blowing factory, the Isle of Wight pearl factory and the Butterfly zoo are amongst the other things to do there.
This city is buzzing with things to do, and there’s something for everyone. Not-to-be-missed attractions include the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai fountain. The Dubai mall, the Global Village, Ski Dubai (artificial ski slopes) and the Dubai aquarium. And of course, a treat for the kids, the Desert Safari and a trip to Atlantis Waterpark or Wild Wadi Waterpark.
