Isle of Wight, UK
There’s plenty to see and do and keep kids entertained outdoors on this pretty island in the UK. Easily accessible via a 40-minute ferry ride from Portsmouth or Southampton. The Isle of Wight is perfect for a short family getaway or a more relaxed holiday alike.
There are the beaches and there is also the Needles Attractions which include the popular Chairlift ride (a favourite with kids). There is also the beautiful hike around Alum Bay and breathtaking views of the Needles Lighthouse and cliffs.
The Alum Bay glass-blowing factory, the Isle of Wight pearl factory and the Butterfly zoo are amongst the other things to do there.
Dubai, UAE
This city is buzzing with things to do, and there’s something for everyone. Not-to-be-missed attractions include the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai fountain. The Dubai mall, the Global Village, Ski Dubai (artificial ski slopes) and the Dubai aquarium. And of course, a treat for the kids, the Desert Safari and a trip to Atlantis Waterpark or Wild Wadi Waterpark.
