Slow cooker beef bolognaise bake
I try to follow clean eating as much as possible. On a Tuesday my two monkeys have a swimming lesson early evening so I try to have something in the slow cooker ready for when we get home.
This week I made bolognaise pasta bake.
Ingredients:
500g frozen lean beef steak mince
1/2-1 onion
1 garlic clove
Vegetables (fresh or frozen whatever you like, we had carrots, sweetcorn, green beans)
2 tins of chopped tomatoes
Herbs to flavour
500g wholewheat pasta shapes or spaghetti broken into smaller pieces.
Cheese grated
Method:
Put it all in the slow cooker
Add 1-2 tins (use tomato tins) of water.
Stir
Heat on high for an hour then low till eating 3+ hours
Just before eating grate some cheese on top and allow to melt, stir in.
I also added chilli flakes to mine 🙂
